Replacement Rear Extension | Stratford-upon-Avon

Completed in 2016, this project sought to remove the existing cold and small conservatory from the rear of the property and replace it with a larger, contemporary flat roof extension. The key element of the brief was to integrate the extension into the current living and dining room, ensuring that the space feel lighter and more welcoming.

Folding sliding doors connect the accommodation to the garden and the large flat rooflight allows natural light to flood into the floor plan. Small slit windows to the side provide natural background ventilation. The proposal also incorporates high levels of insulation which meet the current standards set down by the Building Regulations and enables our client to use the space all year round.
