Pool House | Gables End

A modern pool & enclosure linked to an existing dwelling to replace an existing outdoor pool in Redditch, Worcestershire. The client was open to suggestions for the design of this project. The design focus is on the large skylight and large bi-folding doors that open  on to the back garden. The standing seam zinc roof over the vertical timber clad walls create a contemporary design that separates from, but also compliments, the existing property. The materials and small link ensure that the proposal is seen as an individual structure  rather than acting as an extension to the existing dwelling.
